Promise Keepers Canada was inaugurated in 1995 as the first international expansion of the ministry.
In 1990, two men in a car on a Colorado highway had a conversation about how to help men lead biblical, fulfilled lives. This conversation soon turned into men’s conferences occurring throughout America with millions of men being challenged to live with a Christ-centred view of being a man.
A group of Canadian men attended these events and had a desire to launch the same ministry in Canada. After a season of prayer, research, and planning – Promise Keepers Canada was inaugurated in 1995 as the first international expansion of the ministry.
Following some challenging financial times in the late 1990’s, the ministry has moved to a place of stability and steady growth. Today, we are poised to continue to move forward to serve and assist the men of Canada.
Promise Keepers Canada is a uniquely Canadian ministry to men. With its own Board of Directors, staff, and supported by Canadians – the ministry has been able to ignite and equip tens of thousands of men across the nation.
