AGENDA EVENT AGENDA
Our one week joint Promise Keepers Canada - Water Ambassadors Canada water project will include the drilling of a well in a rural community village, followed by the installation of an electric pump. A dedication ceremony will follow the completion of the well and includes the distribution of Bibles to each family. All projects are "public", meaning that water is to be made available to anyone in the community without exception.
Registered volunteers arrive at La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City on Saturday and will be transported to their accommodation in Antigua for the night. On Sunday afternoon, the team will be driven to a hotel near the drill site, which will be home for the remaining week. Breakfast and supper will be provided at the hotel, and lunch is provided at the work site.
Teams will consist of 8-10 men from across Canada. Members will be expected to participate in multiple planning conference calls prior to departure.
