What will be discussed during the Becoming a Better Husband workshop?

As a husband you are given the honor and challenge of loving your wife as Christ loves the church. In this workshop we will seek to understand God’s view of your wife and how that influences your marriage, what it means to “become one” and explore practical steps of the husbands role for strengthening one of your most important relationships.

What will be discussed during the Learn to Forgive session?

We all know that we need to forgive – it’s good for us and God commands us to. The challenge is HOW to forgive. This practical session will guide us on the path to forgiveness.

What will be discussed during the Why Gender Matters workshop?

The topic of gender has become a lightning rod in our culture, creating debate and confusion. While there seems to be a lot of heat and anger around this issue, most Christians are searching for answers that are biblical and make sense. This session will explore why gender matters to God and seek to understand God’s vision for being a man.

What will be discussed during the Youth Breakout session?

The youth breakout session is geared towards students.  Today, young men are left with many questions and sadly, not many answers… until now! Explore topics like how to thrive with a sex drive, the characteristics of men versus boys, and living beyond the now.

What activities will we doing?

The activities are:

  • Cross-cut log saw
  • Hockey skills competition
  • Cecil Beake horseshoe throwing contest
