What is the Becoming a Better Husband workshop?
As a husband you are given the honor and challenge of loving your wife as Christ loves the church. In this workshop we will seek to understand God’s view of your wife and how that influences your marriage, what it means to “become one” and explore practical steps of the husbands role for strengthening one of your most important relationships.
What is the Value of Time workshop?
Too often we feel the pressure of the rat race and a lack of time for what matters. This workshop is designed to help us find the balance we long for. Together we will explore biblical principles on understanding time, how we invest it and practical steps for creating a healthier lifestyle.
What is the Finding Success workshop?
Regardless of age or status, each of us has experienced moments of success in life. However, our search for success as a lasting destination is often illusive, and in the end disappointing. Could it be that we are going about it in the wrong way?
In the Finding Success workshop we explore practical wisdom for not only achieving a biblical definition of success but clearly lay out the road-map for reaching our destination.
What will the Youth Breakout session cover?
The youth breakout session is geared towards students and will explore a discipleship map for young men that includes daily disciplines, a focus on serving others along with practical tools and biblical truth to help avoid the pitfalls of sexual sin and pornography, laziness, video games and cell phones.
What activities will we doing?
The activities are:
- Off-road truck pull
- Fly cast competition
- Cross-cut log saw
- Hot wing eating contest
