Trip Lee: Joy Can’t Be Stolen

The hardest part of life Trip Lee’s life has been dealing with chronic fatigue syndrome. Back from tour in 2007, Trip was constantly missing classes, sleeping 18 hours a day and still feeling exhausted.

Friends didn’t understand, a guidance counselor thought he needed “better studying skills”, doctors misdiagnosed his symptoms and then guessed “maybe it’s chronic fatigue syndrome?”

Fast forward to today and CFS is more real than ever for Trip. “It affects everything. I was in denial that my strength had been taken from me. It took a while to come to this new reality.”

There have been many more bad days than good, yet Trip tells us that abundant life in Jesus that cannot be stolen.
